Why a Weekend Plan Exists
Most dog walking is built around the workweek. Somebody is at the office Monday through Friday, the dog needs a midday break, and that is the whole plan.
But a lot of people need the opposite. Nurses, first responders, restaurant staff, retail managers, real estate agents, and anyone in hospitality works the days everyone else has off. Their dog is fine Tuesday afternoon and stuck at home all day Saturday.
Weekend Warrior is built for that. It is a real membership with real reserved coverage, not a favor we squeeze in if someone happens to be around.
It also works for the other weekend problem. Long Saturdays out, day trips, weddings, kids sports tournaments, or a dog with more energy than a Sunday morning can absorb.
Who This Plan Fits
Weekend shift workers
Healthcare, emergency services, restaurants, retail, and hospitality. Your Saturday is a Monday, and your dog should not pay for that.
High-energy dogs
Some dogs cannot go from five structured weekdays to two unstructured weekend days without the wheels coming off. Consistency across all seven days keeps behavior steady.
Busy weekend families
Travel sports, errands, birthday parties. The dog gets forgotten in the shuffle from nine in the morning until six at night.
People who want their weekend back
You love your dog and you also want to leave the house for eight hours without guilt. Both can be true.
What Every Walk Includes
Weekend walks are the same standard as weekday walks. Nothing is scaled back.
A private, one on one walk
Your dog and your walker. No pack, no group. Only dogs from the same household walk together, and only if you want that.
Fresh water and a quick check
Water bowl refilled, and a look at how your dog is moving and behaving. Small changes get noticed.
A bathroom break that counts
Long enough to actually go, not a rushed trip to the end of the driveway.
Cleanup after your dog
On the route and in your yard. Bagged and disposed of properly.
A secure home
Doors locked, gates latched, alarm reset if you use one. Every time.
An update
You know the walk happened and how your dog did.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Weekend Warrior plan for?
It is for dogs who need walks on Saturday and Sunday. Members on this plan pay no weekend surcharge, which is the main reason people choose it.
Can non-members get weekend walks?
Yes, subject to availability. A weekend surcharge applies without a Weekend Warrior membership. If you need weekends regularly, the plan costs less than paying the surcharge every time.
Why is there a weekend surcharge at all?
Because our team are salaried W-2 employees, not contractors. Weekend coverage means real staffing on days most people are off. The membership is how we keep that available and predictable instead of making it a scramble every Saturday.
What is the difference between standard and extended walks?
Standard walks are 20 to 30 minutes, which suits most dogs. Extended walks are 45 to 60 minutes, better for high-energy breeds, young dogs, or any dog who is still wound up after half an hour.
Can a Weekend Warrior member add a weekday walk?
Yes. Weekend Warrior members can add a weekday walk for $38 per visit, with no separate weekday contract. It is useful for the occasional long weekday or a vet appointment that runs over.
What if I need an extra weekend walk beyond my plan?
Additional weekend walks are $40 for standard and $72 for extended. Just ask and we will fit it in where we can.
Are these private walks?
Yes. Every walk is one on one with your dog. We do not run pack walks. The only exception is dogs from the same household, who can walk together if you want that.
Do you walk dogs in bad weather?
Yes. We walk in most weather. During extreme events such as hurricanes, blizzards, or tornadoes, walks may be shortened, rescheduled, or adjusted for safety. We always prioritize your dog safety and our team safety.
What happens on a really hot day?
We adjust. Pavement gets hot enough to burn paw pads well before it feels dangerous to a person in shoes. On hot days we shorten the walk, stick to shade and grass, go earlier or later, and carry water.
Who actually walks my dog?
One of our own salaried employees, not a contractor from an app. We aim to send the same walker as consistently as possible so your dog builds a relationship rather than meeting a new person every week.
